3. Business. Mexico has become somewhat of a business hub in recent years. The streets are paved with gold.
4. Health care. Mexico is much cheaper than the US for health care. Americans are flocking to Mexico for everything from laser eye surgery to heart bypasses in the hope of saving thousands of dollars.
5. Visit relatives. Many people have migrated across the American borders in the past but they still have relatives and loved ones in Mexico that they wish to visit for a couple of days or longer.
6. A night out. Thousands of students visit Tijuana every weekend. They simply walk across the border, have a few beers and then walk back home across the border. The 21 year old age limit doesn't apply in Mexico and the party scene in general is much more liberal than in the US.
7. Buy goods. Certain goods are much cheaper in Mexico and the border is within easy reach of some US states such as California. It is literally a day trip for some consumers.
